Transfer students are welcomed to the CYS community. CYS admissions and registrar work closely with transfer students to identify qualifying course credits towards their CYS degrees. Credit may be granted for previous academic work from other approved institutions when equivalency and relevancy to the curriculum at CYS can be verified. The absolute maximum for awarding equivalent credits in this manner is limited to 21 credits at the Master’s degree level. 

This process will be initiated upon acceptance to CYS, by close partnership between the student, the previous institution(s), and the appropriate parties at CYS: registrar, admissions, the student’s academic advisor, etc.
